iPadOS 18, visionOS 2, iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and newer devices
Have you ever missed a deadline or wanted to send a message but were afraid you'd forget? To avoid this, you can schedule your SMS messages to be sent at a specific time. This is particularly useful if you work across Apple devices, such as an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Here's how:
- Open Messages.
- Select the person you want to send a message to.
- Tap the plus icon above the keyboard on the left.
- Choose Send Later.
- Tap Time.
- Choose the time you'd like the message to be sent.
- Write your message and then press Send.
Now, the SMS will automatically be sent at the scheduled time. Note: This feature requires your device to run iPadOS 18, iOS 18, or a newer version.
