Have you ever been in an emergency where you needed to contact someone close to you while calling emergency services? By setting up SOS contacts on your iPhone or iPad, you ensure that they can always be reached in case of an emergency where emergency services are contacted.
Here’s how to do it:
- Open the Health app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select "Health Checklist."
- Tap "Emergency SOS."
- Scroll down and select "Set up Emergency Contacts in Health."
- Scroll down and tap "Add Emergency Contact."
- Choose the person or people you want to add, then select their relationship to you.
When you call emergency services, a text message will automatically be sent to these contacts.
